Your work MATTERS.

You have two ways to go, two directions, no standing still, you either go back or go forward, that’s it.

Every week you have off it takes you two weeks to get back to normal (according to studies).

A week off is fine but mentally it can destroy your rhythm, disrupt your habits and put you out of sync.

You don’t have to have olympian type workouts every time, you just have to show up. That middle of the road effort maters, it counts, it yields results both physically and mentally.

Your work, your actions, your deeds matter and give you huge benefits in every area of your life.

Non-action, thinking about it just sends you backwards in all ways, does nothing for your mental health and makes you feel sluggish, lacing in energy and sucks the life out of you.

Today is another opportunity, don’t put it as it has no upside!!

Ignoring one side of our body because it’s weaker or hurts more is not a good strategy.

One side is usually weaker because we rely or prefer one side of our body. As kids we kick or throw with one side, we sleep on one side more and we tend to prefer to step up on one side too.

As we age, that overworking on one side begins to add up.

This is why we put an enormous emphasis on one sided work, dumbbells mostly instead of bars, one leg instead of two legs, avoiding as many machines as possible so every muscle and every angle of our body can actually “feel’ the movement.

Repetitive work on our preferred side causes problems. Becoming strong on our weak side ought to become a priority, see it as “nothing wrong” with you, see it more as a lifelong preference that needs to be balanced back out.
