Don’t let anyone talk you into a faddy way of being healthy.

You will never beat putting good workouts in, at least three times a week. You need to strength train, you need to work on your mobility and your need to work your heart and lungs well regularly.

You will never beat eating well at least 80% of the time. Natural food works in healthy sized portions, don’t pile your food high, keep it reasonable, carbs the size of your fist, protein the size of your fist and plenty of vegetables.

Sleeping is great medicine, getting to bed early will heal your body, renew your energy supplies daily and keep your much fresher mentally and physically in every single area.

Some may tell you to get on “weight loss injections” at great personal expense.

Apart from the monetary cost, the endless release of bad side effects in the news are already well-documented, meaning these injections don’t really car about your health, and when you come off them, the weight not only comes back on but plenty more on top too, making future fat loss even harder than before.

These injections are already highly controversial, have a lot of bad side effects and that’s the short term, the long term effects are not even known yet, don’t put yourself in danger, do things the RIGHT way!!!

Moving forward with your health is always a series of small steps.

You don’t run a marathon without first of all being a beginner struggling to run 10 yards in one go once upon a time.

If your legs are weak, then doing squats or lunges are hard initially, but you won’t do deep ones to start with, a small bend in your legs is your first step, and over time your legs adjust and over time you are able to bend your legs deeper and deeper.

You won’t eat perfect to start with, be realistic, drinking more water is a start, eating more fruit is a victory and eating more greens with each meal will have massive positive consequences for your health, but all this takes time and small steps works, as long as you are moving forward then it’s all good.

Everyone makes mistakes, everyone misses workouts from time to time, but if you focus on moving forward continuously instead of perfection all the time and getting frustrated and giving up, then you will only keep feeling better, performing better and feel in control of your health for the first time in a long time instead of life overwhelming you.
