When we care about something enough, we tend to put more work into it, we will go the extra mile, we will do it no matter what threatens to get in the way, and when we care about something, we will never complain about doing it, and eventually when we care enough, we will likely be very good at it.

It comes down to that when it comes to your health. Yes everyone wants to be “healthy and fitter” but do you really care about your health enough to follow the right process in achieving that?

When we care more, we achieve things far quicker and we will likely hold onto that success because we care more, we will enjoy it more.

Make your health journey personal, have strong deep down reasons you care about why you make your workouts a big part of your life, strong reasons why you make healthy food an everyday event, and remember what you care deeply about, you will be successful at and ultimately be happy doing.

There used to be the story of Aladdin and granting 3 wishes and as children we imagined that happening to us. When we grow up though, we realise it’s all a little different.

We ALL want great things to happen for us in all areas of our life, but there has to be a process to achieving  those great things and much work needs to be done on a consistent basis.

COMMITMENT to the process matters above everything else.

When we start exercising, are we really going to be committed to working out at least 3 times a week, which tends to bring strong results every time?

Or are we prepared to eat well at least 80% of the time, what we normally eat needs to be nutritious, gives us energy and helps us repair our body after exercising-how are we REALLY doing on that right now?

Are we drinking enough water? Our performance and wellbeing relies on us staying hydrated, or are we willing our bodies with fizzy drinks etc, which often makes up at least 40% of our long term weight gain for example as well as weakening our bones.

Are we getting to bed early enough in the week to help our bodies recover, and get ready for a good performance the next day? Or are we skipping sleep, staying up late to watch our favourite shows, and paying the price the next day being much more tired and irritable than normal?

Three wishes CAN happen, but ONLY when we apply and commit ourselves to the process of achieving them, and comes through hard work and doing the right things relentlessly, have the occasional treat of course but stay committed to getting better and doing your best, and especially on the days you don’t even feel like it.
