Big dreams exist for you to GROW into. Big ambitions, the stuff you really want takes a lot of work, takes a lot of continuous effort, grit and resilience because there will be disappointment along the way (as well as the victories).

The question is are you going through the motions or are you growing yourself bit by bit into your dreams and aspirations, or are you making excuses not to even try at all and give up on yourself?

Big dreams take daily affirmations, and reminding yourself why you are working so hard every day is powerful.

Also, when you write it down (what you really want), it becomes more than twice as likely to happen and come true. When you write it down, it becomes more real, you are less likely to forget about it and it will always be on your mind, and the steps you need to keep taking to keep advancing to your goal.

We can all get discouraged along the way, but when we have a regular schedule, a routine that enables us to continuously get better, progress becomes much more likely to be automatic rather than something that happens like a winning the lottery type of freak happening.

Big dreams can happen, but it’s all going to be YOU and your HARD WORK done relentlessly, and you will DESERVE IT if you stick at it and see it through, keep showing up and make progress a big part of your day..

Right in the middle of January and the cold hard reality of where your health is. How would your report card on your health look? And how much is it costing you in all areas of your life if you aren’t giving it the proper attention?

If you don’t eat right, your body will eventually shows cracks, your immune system will show more weakness than it used to, you will be back and forth to the doctor’s more often and even the hospital more. Every cold and flu will knock you over easier than it used to, and your recovery will be slow and up and down.

Papering over the cracks doesn’t work either, eat well for a couple of days is far less effective than changing your lifestyle for now and the future, and deciding to live a healthier life-for the rest of your life because you know it will pay off big time.

You will find out the hard way that having a few takeaways a week regularly will hurt your health, it will be tough on your body drinking a few days a week lowering your immune system drastically, hard choices need to be not only in January but balance must be achieved the rest of your life, moderation works over the long term.

On the other hand, if you are down the gym most days, you will know what resilience is all about, you won’t care about how wet and cold it is, and you will thrive with your health because day in day out, you are putting the big shifts in and your health is being rewarded continuously with high energy, huge positivity and an ability to do anything you want in your life, and nothing will stop you because your health threatens to curtail your choices in every day life.

Your health report card can be great, and your consistent efforts on all fronts will be the deciding factor.
