We all end up in situations we aren’t happy with from time to time, and have made decisions along the way not in our best interest that have got us there.

We learn from them hopefully, we learn from experience and we realise that a lot of our future is something we can control.

Without good health, a lot of choices that we take for granted and cherish are taken away from us. 

The good news it’s NEVER to late to get back in a situation where we can live without pain, we can live with better mental health, and we can live with a healthy weight and body fat that will only enhance our lives in ALL ways.

If we give our health everything by eating well, by exercising at least three times a week and choosing to hang out with positive influences, then life is always very likely to go OUR WAY instead of against us.

The hot weather makes us realise that today’s weather is a gift. A great cool breeze, plenty of wind and absolutely terrific training weather, especially if you have been training over the last couple of days too.

We have a lot to be grateful for.Your ability to exercise and at a good level should be appreciated greatly too.

Once you are fit and healthy, you NEVER want it to end. You never “retire” from feeling good, you never get fed up of being able to walk or even run up a mountain, it never gets old when you set a new personal bestThe weather can be seen in two ways, it’s either a temporary blip that you become determined to come back strong from, or work through (like so many of you have), or it becomes two days that sets you up for two weeks OFF which can turn into two months off or even two years off and all of that downward spiral entails.

Life isn’t against you at all, so many gym members have come back from bigger odds and gone onto to become champions and true inspirations, yesterday or monday was not the day to give up, it was the day to feel truly grateful for what you have and realise what you are capable of once again.

The times you stick with your training or give up on mirror the rest of your life.

It’s easy to miss a training session, then miss the week and then miss the entire month.

Then it can becomes two years Iand ‘ve seen it happen!All of those things you thought of having a go at life become easier NOT to have a go at. It’s much easier then not to change jobs/careers, easier not to join a course that can change your life in September, easier not to launch your own business, even much easier not to change your eating habits which will only help your health and wellness.

The people you spend most time with will form your opinions and make them concrete sometimes.If you are on a bus stop with otherslooking at us go up the hill every day in the heat, snow or rain, you probably think “what lunatics, I am better off with my coat on going on the bus sitting down resting, then going home and resting and saving my energy”.

When the reality is the less you do, the LESS you want to do until the less you do the less you are ABLE to do!!Don’t give up on yourself because so often it sets off a big decline in ALL areas of your life-fact.Congratulations to so many of you doing incredible things with you

Considering the weather, a very strong attendance indeed today throughout the day.

Lots of you remember why you started in times like these of big temperature rises because it’s the deep down reasons that will keep you going.

You come in and do your best no matter what, you do what you can in the hot weather, you remembered to drink more water throughout the day to make sure you felt good enough for a workout, those of you who showed up today and did well will feel mightily pleased with yourselves now.When you exercise, your food tastes better afterwards and you feel much more motivated to eat well.

When you exercise on days like this, you sleep much better and feel better full stop.

When a pro athlete has one week off, it takes them 1-2 weeks to get that fitness back, remenbr that.The importance of keeping going at your OWN pace in a sensible manner in this heat cannot be overstated, and this is before we start talking about the MENTAL HEALTH benefits!!We all have choices and doing any kind of workout whether at the gym or online will give you endless benefits.

Only you can change but you have to realise it doesn’t have to be some huge monumental effort on one magical day.

A little improvement most days will lead to you feeling better and having a great week.

If you show up again a few times the next week, and do your best each time (even when sometimes you don’t even feel like it), then another great week will have been in the bank.Four of these good weeks will amount to a big change overall, you will feel noticeably better, your clothes will feel a little better, and you will feel better about yourself full stop in just one month of consistent effort.

Everyone wants some significance in their lives, and your pursuit of feeling better through getting fitter and healthier will add a lot more meaning and sense of purpose to your life.When you become fitter, stronger, healthier, more mobile, have less pain in your body, the added benefits every single time will be much improved mental health and a sense that your preseent daiy life and the future suddenly starts looking a whole lot better.

Aim to win each day, don’t look too far ahead and a lifestyle change means exactly that, how you usually live and your workouts and eating well ought to be a massive part of that, this way you will progress quickly without even thinking about it and eating well and training you will automatically want to do just to feel better.
