The most important reason for you to be healthy is known best by YOU.

I can tell you all day long that it’s vital for you to be fit and healthy, to have good and safe levels of blood pressure, to have a strong heart, to have good circulation, to exercise to boost your mental health, to keep your bones and joints strong and not invite pain into your body through inactivity and eating badly continuously, but that advice will count for nothing until you be honest and see it yourself.

The driving force within you comes from you, it could be for your kids, your grandkids, to keep those closest to you happy but unless you REALLY want to do it for yourself, you will often fail to keep a sustained effort up, you will continuously be looking for a “miracle” pill or workout to somehow do it all for you and everything will somehow be “okay” as if by magic.WRITE down privately what is important or MOST important to you, how being healthy and out of pain and sickness would make that so much better, and write down that you know showing up at least 3 times to the gym and eating right is the only way to achieve what’s physically and emotionally important to you.

Anything and EVERYthing is possible, it’s all down to you and putting yourself in the right environment to achieve it.

In gratitude.

Thanks for your amazing support this year already, it really means a lot, we have strong foundations after the times we had to close over the last couple of years but still continued to go strong outside of course..

I remember the times when we constantly had to buy new mats to cope with demand outside as well as a lot of other equipment, but because we were REALLY doing the numbers, we went out and continued to buy the best mats money could buy.

No “bring your own mat”, no compromise we just did it.Lots of you train all hours, lots of you train online ON TOP of the great individuals who show up every day, many of you have never met each other too but each and every one of you are sincerely appreciated and your progress remains phenomenal.

The gym is always changing, I see us a team and it’s vital to keep that team strong mentally as well as physically, and tell you how important you are in being part of something incredibly special.Only when you training with us can you appreciate the intensity, the passion, the drive and the true challenge of what we do together every day.

You have to be IN IT TO FEEL IT!!Again, we are incredibly lucky and grateful to have such great people in our gym which make it what it is.Keri and family.

It was deeply alarming news I heard this morning when I heard that 50-60 per cent of people in this country are eating ready meals regularly. Would you really want to eat something that is days, weeks and even months old?!!!!

Really is that you?!!!!!

This would explain the ever increasing obesity crisis, and another huge factor now is amongst older people relying on them as their main source of food providing little to no nutritional value.It’s the number one way to get weak, to decrease your bone density just when you need it as you get older, hurt your balance, the number one way to get used to NOT digesting your food properly and a big reason why so many people see a big decline in their physical health which only accelerates a big mental health decline.

If you are training hard and relying on ready meals, you won’t be able to replenish your lost energy, lost muscle mass and fail to recover remotely near the level you need to.With ready meals you soon won’t have enough energy to exercise, you will experience massive highs and lows of energy and mood, and generally your health will be compromised.

You DESERVE TO REWARD your body with good healthy food, as fresh as possible and if you are on your own, REWARD yourself with NUTRITIOUS snacks and meals to build up your strength, to recover from your hard training sessions and simply to FEEL BETTER because you deserve to feel fit and strong.Don’t be influenced by anyone else because they won’t be looking out for your health, they just want the easy way out of sticking a load of rubbish in plastic into the microwave!!!

Monday Sept 5th

A couple of weeks ago I said peak negativity had been reached, peak fear, peak the world is going to end fear, and since then lots have you have dived off the top board and attacked fear and smashed it right between the eyes.

Your workouts should mirror whats going on in your life because big challenges come all the time. If we ask you to do something you have never done before it’s because we thInk you can do it.Yes there is doubt but there is plenty of doubt in life too.Yes there is fear because you may think you are too old, too overweight, too weak, don’t have your mojo, but somehow you RISE to the occasion and absolutely CRUSH IT!!!

Everything you fear in life right now is CRUSHABLE if there is such a word, all you have to do is get your attitude right and kick the thing you fear so much in the balls!!!Monday is done, peak negativity has been proved its only a (bad) state of mind and you were way more capable than you ever thought!!

23rd august 2022

Peak doom and gloom is right now-lots want to tell you that. 

More nightmare scenarios, more projections of hell and failure for everyone in life, IF you believe the media.

This is EXACTLY the time I BUY INTO the doom and gloom because you know when they say life can’t get any worse, the whole thing is about to turn around AND HISTORY agrees with me, it’s always darkest right before dawn.

I lost a lot of money investing in 2008, but a lot others MADE a lot of money BUYING exactly when my stocks were hitting rock bottom, a valuable lesson learned that shaped a contrary position in life for me that means we can usually win again the alleged odds. 

I have seen many recessions, and if you keep stepping up your game I find, you do ok, and sometimes quite well and always come out stronger.

I know how important health is for everyone. I have trained MANY millionaires who would give all their money AWAY, just to have their health back-FACT, that’s the true health versus money equation right there.

I know that our very recent time of PEAK doom was the recent shutdowns of society, we as a gym came through that STRONGER than ever with more opportunities and options than ever despite the odds and being written off constantly, because we had/have extraordinary people willing to overcome great odds themselves.

My best advice to you is when life seems darkest, BACK yourself and throw everything into the ring, because you can do extraordinary things just when those around you are panicking the most because the opportunities are taken by those willing to give life everything they have. Life usually backs those who live with courage every day, even if it doesn’t always go for way every day.

As long as you are moving forward every day, keep riding the punches, we will back you in every way possible to smash your way out of this doom and gloom and get you realise recessions happens, bad luck can happen, but realise that 90% of things that you worry about NE VER actually happen.

Life is mostly about what attitude you bring to do it every day and the action you are willing to take. People will talk life down and always give you the worst case scenario but the wisest and most experienced ones will tell you to control what you can control, give it a good go every day, surround yourself with positive influences to help you through, and back yourself the most just at the time when the media tells you the world is about to end!!
