Your body reacts very positively to your workout even if you can’t work your whole body.

Injuries, pulls, niggles of all kinds force us to work away from that area, and the worst thing we can do is avoid workouts completely because we have one part of our body in pain, not right, we are struggling with.

You can have a great leg day if you have a bad arm. You can have a great day on core if you have a bad leg, there’s usually a ton of options.

PLUS don’t forget the mental benefits of working out VERSUS staying on settee. 

Workouts are associated with mood elevation, physical wellbeing because you are pumping fresh blood all over your body, and all those fresh chemicals released in your brain will guarantee you transforming yourself mood into one that is hugely positive and can literally change your day’s outcome.

Monday is the perfect day too turn the odds in YOUR favour-Let’s go!!!

Feb 7th

DO STUFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have trained people for a lot of years and without seeing simplistic, people who DO STUFF usually feel better than those who don’t, or are hesitant to do stuff, or hesitant to have a go, or put off things, or wait for the “right time” to do stuff, you WILL FEEL BETTER if you show up and get stuff done and that very much included your workout as the biggest catalyst in your life to add spark, energy and drive INTO your life.

Of course its not easy to always do stuff, and we have all been guilty of that including me. But once we get used to doing things, doing hard things, getting tough stuff done, it becomes a habit, it creates momentum in all areas of our lives and without doubt, WE FEEL BETTER.

I urge you not to get caught in a worLD where everyone overthinks-BE THE EXCEPTION and keep DOING STUFF for your physical health and to get YOUR MIND RIGHT!!!!!

Feb 6th

What’s really important to you in life? It doesn’t really matter the order either but your health is going to be the non-negotiable requirement to make all the things you care about the most happen.

Life is hectic for most of us, your energy levels will help you make it sustainable and rewarding along the way, stop you getting overwhelmed, stop you giving up so easily that really you should be getting through, and give us a sense that WE are in control of our lives instead of life taking us over, and we are somehow helpless to fight back against it.

Energy doesn’t come in a can unless its very short term and has working side effects, energy is created by YOU and how much you move, how well you move and what fuel you put into your body to create it and recover from all your exertions.

All the things that you really care about revolve around the good energy you create every day and living an active healthy life automatically creates better overall health, which leads to a much more exciting life for you and those closest to you for the future as well as right now.

A healthier body transfers itself to better mental health too, and your view in life will differ dramatically when you are unhealthy and ill versus being fit,  strong and feeling in charge of everything you do in life.

Small accomplishments always lead to something much bigger over time. Have you exercised today?

Fantastic if you have, you have ground to make up tomorrow if you haven’t.

Get it done and celebrate your first accomplishment of the week.Are you buying rubbish food into your house and say to yourself “they’re not for me, I won’t eat them”, tell the truth you will eat them and you will struggle to stay as healthy in the heaviest time of year for colds/flu etc.

Your accomplishment today is not to buy rubbish into the house and get down to basics that will serve you and your health well.You be welcome to give that rubbish away to someone you don’t like.Get a decent night’s sleep, your body only heals when you sleep, it only re-charges when you sleep, you will only feel like facing tomorrow with a ton of energy if you get a good night’s sleep. it’s monday, the basics, even the so called “boring stuff” need to get done, and these are the small accomplishments that always lead to big successes over time, because without your health, nothing will be possible

Trusting yourself to go through the process with us and stick with it, is very tough because everyone wants “overnight results” these days, in fact it’s always been that way.

In a world where you can “self congratulate” yourself on social media and exaggerate any accomplishment for your own ego, it’s refreshing to know that we can find anyone out at our gym.

We have a tried and tested process that not only finds out people if they really have enough grit and determination, we always find people out over the long term too.

I know by now the types of characters who can “trust the process” and eventually get staggering results.

These are the individuals I can give ANYTHING, and they suck it up and get on with the most arduous of tasks and brand new exercises, and after a couple of sessions getting used to it, start of OUT-PERFORM on it, that’s what they do week in week out, new programme after new programme!!!

This is what these people eventually great athletes who are tough and ready for anything.

It is true big ego’s from all walks of life, all ages, have wanted the same exceptional results as they have seen others get, but have been unwilling to tough it out, to “trust themselves through the process” and not been willing to put in the continuous hard work necessary to stand out from the pack.

We have lots of great athletes at the gym, all ages, lots who have overcome tremendous adversity and stuck two fingers up to people who say they can’t achieve their dreams, which we strongly applaud and always support.

The process to become great goes on with us daily, and character is always developed along the way. It’s all about showing up when you don’t want to, it’s about taking the tough option when begging yourself up on social media would be easier, it’s about knuckling down and finding out what you REALLY have inside of you!!
