It’s well known I dislike bosses-but I love leaders, the two are very different.

One wears a fake title and carries around clipboards pretending to lead, the other earns respect along the way by their actions and their deeds.

The boss can be the one who tells you to do things that often they cannot do. The leader will encourage you to do something they have already shown you they can do and they have confidence in you to do it well too, and will stick with you until you do manage it.

The boss will blame you entirely when things go wrong, the leader will take full responsibility as ultimately they will not have given you the full tools or confidence or both to get the task done.

The boss will go to play golf on a friday or away for a long weekend even when you have a deadline to meet or project to finish, the leader will be leading from the front, getting their hands dirty and leading the charge to get things done BEFORE time no matter what-no excuses.

There was a time in our lives when someone would leave school, have constant promotions because “they had been there a long time” with no regard for their ability or impact they were having in the organisation.

They would call meetings already knowing the outcome, but pretend they were “consulting” staff.

Leaders don’t waste time on endless meetings, they lead with clarity and get you onboard early to fully believe in the mission, they will admit when they are wrong early and take all the flak for it, they will re-adjust quickly and set course on the new path that will get them to the right destination and they will learn quickly from that chastening experience.

The leader is the one who cleans the business early and makes surgical cleanliness seem like routine-a true artist in my book and a leader you cannot do without.

The leader at the gym is the one who never asks someone else what they can’t do themselves.

The leader at the gym is also the individual who often arrives very unfit, often with a string of health conditions, but overcomes all of those battles, often gets off all medication and becomes the shining light at the gym who radiates positivity, inspiration and character to all of those around them wanting to change themselves so much, who are maybe at the start of their journeys but struggling in so many ways-that’s true leadership-leading by example.

No room for bosses with us, but we love having MANY leaders amongst us and members becoming leaders through their amazing deeds and action often against the odds over time.

Be the light in people’s lives today, don’t let the ones who suck the life out of you win.

All the doubt, anxiety and stress you have inside of you right now can be crushed at the gym in your workout. The more doubt you have, lift HEAVIER, the more anxiety you have PULL harder on that ski machine, if you feel a big struggle in your life, load MORE weights on the prowler.

You can do this, but you MUST show up and go to war with all the negativity in your life, and turn it all into a powerful light that helps EVERYONE around you.

Making yourself accountable is guaranteed to lift yourself to another level with your health without question.

We all need someone to nudge us at times or we won’t have any kind of standard with our health.

We will know the standard we are at when one of two things will happen. We either find last week’s workout a little easier or we find it much harder..

Finding it easier means we are eating well, resting well and being consistent with our workouts, no excuses.

Finding it harder means we have slacked off on our schedule, we miss workouts regularly and we don’t feel accountable anymore, nobody is really checking up on us as we can make elaborate excuses to justify ourselves not REALLY trying to make our workouts no matter what.

I urge you to get back on a mission, I urge you to message me now and tell me you are back on it, you are not going to miss any more workouts, you are not going to slack off anymore, your health is TOO important, your wellbeing is at the TOP of your list, you WANT to feel incredible again and by not showing up, you are only cheating yourself.

Stiffness in your body, aches and pains, anxiety, stress, feelings of being overwhelmed, breathlessness at doing things you once thought nothing much about doing, your clothes don’t really fit anymore, settling for one size fits all types of clothes, are all signs you need to jump back in feet first and get doing the things that will change and transform your life, and get you back to feeling the very best version of yourself again.

07968 980 808 is my number, message me on here too, I urge to get on a mission because you should NEVER take your health for granted (because I know everyone who has lost their health in the past would do anything to get it back!!) and we are here to HELP.

Let’s go!!!

Tina

Rage against the dying of the light-Tina Marie Evans.

The lady in the photo is Tina, she’s desperate to walk again, the first time since she was 15. She is now 38. She has more fire inside of her than most people I know, don’t underestimate her.

She has a condition called Friedreich’s Ataxia, her brain communication with her body’s nerves can be a real problem to say the least, causing a host of other hardships she must live with daily-but never complains about.

She was meant to die as a young adult, but she rages fiercely against the dying of the light and proving everyone wrong..

She arrived and she couldn’t sit up without falling forward all the time.

You can see her amazing progress in my story most days at the gym, with her commitment she has improved radically in 8 months with plenty more to come-she can now get on her feet and stand and she can do the walking motion, all we need to do is put it all together.

I hear different stories of people giving up on themselves every day, but if there’s just ONE thing you should take out of Tina’s story, I urge you to keep RAGING against the dying of the light.

When you don’t use your body enough, you will notice slowly that pain and stiffness invades your body, and if you still don’t move enough over time, you will need a hand off the chair just to stand up.

Still don’t move and don’t get the message and you will need a walking stick, and you get the picture, it will ONLY get worse.

I believe ANYONE who can walk right now can walk 10 mins in one direction out of your house, and then walk back-a 20 minute walk that will help you immensely. NEVER rely on that stick, do as much as you can without it, once you rely on it it’s much harder to get your mobility back.

I believe ANYONE even if they have the walking stick (we have plenty at the gym) can lift weights if shown properly, this will help your joints, strengthen your bones, and revitalise your body at ANY age-science backs this up 1000 times over.

I know ANYONE who swaps their ultra-processed food for fresh food, real food made from scratch will see most of their ailments, their aches and pains disappear over time-i’ve seen it countless times.

Throw in the unrivalled and tremendous improvements in your mental health, and you will be transformed, and actually LIVING your life, not only raging against the dying of your light.

Tina has set the bar high in NOT making excuses and if she’s your catalyst to changing your life very much for the better, then she will be a very happy young lady and very proud she inspired you!!!

May 22nd

A general election can bring hope for some, but for many they are fed up with the horrid state our country is in and they don’t much hope in whatever choice we have. I’ve seen many governments, but nothing much changed for me until I started daily action (however hard that was for me admittedly to start with).

The truth is that nobody who is multi-millionaire up in Westminster with lots of vested interests is really going to help you too much, the reality is if something good can be done, it’s going to be down to you.

The NHS is in heck of mess and underfunded grossly, despite our heroic workers trying their best doing amazing things every minute of their day, but we can help them greatly too by taking action ourselves.

If we rely on the NHS to keep giving us tablets for pain, for our mental health, for our circulation, to help us move better, then that’s fine IF we have exhausted all the natural options.

Nobody is stopping you moving every day, however little that may be right now.

Nobody is stopping you lifting a weight to get stronger, getting a good plan to strengthen your bones and joints the same time.

Nobody is stopping your drink more water, get fresh air and get out breath testing yourself at least once a day.

Now this is REALLY putting the NHS first plus helping yourself, plus sticking two fingers up to all the politicians who take you for granted, the ones who don’t really help you.

The election may be very interesting to you, or you couldn’t care less, but what should be of MOST interest to you is YOUR OWN HEALTH and wellbeing, and the very powerful things you can do every day to make yourself feel better, have a much better future and change the way you see life.

Opportunity EXISTS, but only when you have good health and the action required to make that happen starts you YOU.
