Tues 7th April 2026

Diligence, patience, trust the process, understand the science of what we do, tried and tested, know who you are training’s background before, during and after you train her/him are all VITAL components of what we do.

We will always continue to do the RIGHT thing for everyone we train.

It will never be based on what’s “fashionable”, what style of training has the best “name or brand”, it won’t be offering exercises found in magazines often left on coffee tables in dentist’s waiting room, doing the right thing for every individual we train is the foundation of what we do, always has been, always will be.

Training people professionally takes time, takes into account the individuals strengths and weaknesses, offers solutions for anyone willing to put the hard work in CONSISTENTLY and not look for short cuts as we all know there’s plenty of “cowboys” in this game, often charging horrendous amounts of money for the “privilege”, we do see that often and often only reinforces our strong principles of doing the right thing for every single person who comes into the gym.

I’d be embarrassed if I couldn’t improve every single person a decent amount every week, that’s why we continue to pull out the stops for everyone, there’s always a way, there’s always another angle despite anyone’s current limitations and as I said earlier, patience, diligence and being transparent on what we do makes all the difference when it comes to outcome from your training, you feeling better and stronger and what’s best for you short and long term.

Thurs 2nd April 2026

We will be observing Good Friday and Bank holiday Monday over Easter, so the gym will be closed until Tuesday after this evening’s session.

Thanks to everyone for all your hard work this year up to now, and we wish you all a very peaceful and enjoyable Easter whatever you may be getting up to, and look forward to seeing you all next Tuesday.

This week has been very tough in workout terms, and thank you all for stepping up to the mark and getting through it all with such enthusiasm, energy and purpose, and for showing such resolve with so many difficult challenges put in front of you.

The rewards will come thick and fast from such efforts, as we always expect such great things from everyone at the gym. We continue to be very proud of everyone at the gym and making 2026 such a big success this year in all ways, and we are very grateful for your huge support throughout.

Keri and family.

Wed 25th March

PLENTY of laughs in the gym this week, try focusing on that part for a moment, as we talk plenty about the serious training that goes on.

If you had a tablet that would make you laugh all the time, without any side effects, you would likely be a billionaire these days!

Then think of most of your visits to the gym, have you laughed and do you feel better when you leave? In fact, a LOT better than when you first come in? Even if you have a bad day already?!!!

If you just focus on that part alone, it’s one massive reason to keep showing up at least there times a week.

In a world where everyone talks about mental health these days and a lot of people struggle with it, grab your daily opportunity to feel better not only for your body but your mind too, BOTH are super important!!!!

Tues 24th March 2026

I have trained a lady up in Langland for 30 years, and today I asked for her advice again.

“You are now 90 and after much trauma’s/tragedy in your life, how do you stay so positive?”.

She replied that she always made sure she had fresh air daily, she still had plenty of purpose despite losing her son two years ago, and was super excited her daughter was coming home permanently to live.

It was also her other sons birthday today.

She exercised every day still, was well versed with eating natural food daily and made sure her sleep was a priority.

Sounds simple but the basics seem to work exceptionally well for her.

We all can learn every day, and it’s always good to learn from exceptional individuals who have been there and are on their way back, because they KNOW what it takes to thrive, in good times and bad times.

Monday 23rd March

Developing a strong body helps you greatly in dramatically reducing the occurrence of falls, which can be devastating for every area of your life, broken bones, often leads to a loss in confidence, and a loss of balance-you NEED to get strong and stick at it so you stay strong.

Exercise protects your joints, bolsters them and gives your joints freedom from pain.

You exercise not only because you want to look better, it’s about PROTECTION, we all take good balance, agility, good movement without pain-UNTIL it’s gone.

Keep putting the work in, start your week off right and when it comes to a higher quality of life, sitting down and not moving much can NEVER be an option.
