Nobody’s life is easy, everyone has stress and everyone has difficulties. 

Studies show we have around 60 thousand thoughts every single day, and most people have negative thoughts an incredible 75 per cent of the time.

 And even worse than that, 95% of the time, they are repetitive, meaning we tell ourselves “the same story” again and again.

For many, there’s not many reasons to stay positive, after all “what’s the point”?

The problem with that thinking is that it often becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy, and nothing is worth even attempting in life anymore..

Our thoughts are what we become and form our attitudes to every question, every challenge that comes our way.

We also tend to gravitate to those who think like us depending which environment we are in.

If we are in a negative environment where its normal to tear people down just for having a go in life, then most people will succumb to that negativity and not even dare to have a go or step out of line.

A positive and encouraging environment can be a game-changer for you. An environment that pushes you, never lets you get too comfortable even if you are doing well, and wants you regularly to take the next level up because people in that positive environment have done it themselves, and now believe you an do it, is often invaluable, and keeps you ultimately on a path to long term success.

Changing environments from a bad one to a good one also changes your 60 thousand thoughts a day dramatically too, from the negative side to stacking the odds in your favour for the first time in a while too. 

Imagine how powerful you will be if you are encouraged every day, pushed to do better and to embrace regular and positive change in your life.

Our daily thoughts matter big time, but our environment and what actions we take are the catalyst and true spark to change our lives for the better.

Nothing changes if YOU don’t change, You can hope as much as you want, but not doing a thing different will not change your lot.

IF you keep putting in a great effort, then you deserve change and great things will happen. Those changes and great things may not happen immediately, but change is on the way make no mistake about it as great things take time.

The only thing that can stop change is you and your fear of change. If you had a guarantee that your attempts would never fail, what would you do? 

You would probably put as much into it as possible, risk everything in the knowing that it was going to work no matter what, and the results would be mind blowing every time.

Who’s in your circle? Have you got people who are backing you or have you got some people who are holding you back?

Are you holding yourself back or have you gone ALL IN with your health and fitness or are you ALL OUT? 

You can’t be half in half out, great results come to those who are all in and for those who are, they deserve great rewards, great results and great self-pride and self-esteem from what they are achieving from their hard work because nothing great came easy that’s for sure.

Keep being all in, keep being willing to change and realise your daily habits will always make or break you when it comes to getting where you need to be.

March 11th

Committing to being perfect is IMPOSSIBLE, UNREALISTIC, and means you are bound to fail-Because NOBODY can do that.

BUT if you commit to doing thins well MOST of the time, as in 80% of the time, then you are on a head on collision with SUCCESS with your health.

80% of the time-eat healthy., have a treat occasionally. 

80% of the time-have a plan for your workouts and do your best to show up often and put a decent shift in, if you have an injury, still show up and work on your rehab WITH US.

80% of the time-get to bed early and make your sleep an absolutely PRIORITY!!! 

AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE, get the negative people OUT of your life end of story!!! No matter what good habits you intend to have, energy vampires will try to talk you OUT of implementing them and living by them.

Rules to live by that are not unachievable!!!!

You won’t get better unless you take your opportunities, and opportunities EXIST every day.

Take a few opportunities a week and your life automatically gets better. If you just EXIST all week, not having a go, not even trying, you can’t honestly expect any change in how you feel, or expect to get stronger, faster, more mobile, more agile, get more positive in your mind or increase your energy-it really is unlikely to happen.

Having a better life is often the sum total of all the great moments in your life, the times you had a go and you came up trumps, the times you didn’t think you would pull it off, but you did it somehow through YOUR hard work and seizing the opportunity that came you way.See every day as opportunities to take yes, but see those opportunities as chances for GREAT MOMENTS too which change lives.

Do that often enough and your life changes dramatically for the BETTER.Monday is opportunity day, seize it and create an amazing week!!!

Thursday, 6th March

Every setback, challenge or difficulty forces us to grow as individuals and to step up the effort to what is needed to overcome what has come our way.

We should always be on the lookout to learn, to grow, to adapt, improve and become more because in our workouts NOTHING stays the same-we are usually finding them harder over time (because we aren’t showing up enough and not being consistent) or their initial difficulty becomes easier because we keep showing up and we adapt and overcome them because we are often in the gym and we often give our best.

If I set too low a bar for you, any type of small effort will be too easy to overcome it, if I set too high a bar and you may get discouraged, the bar we set is high enough to improve on the last workout, and therefore take us forward in all areas of our lives.

We never compare ourselves to anyone next to us, what we do compare ourselves to is OURSELVES, US, YOU, ME whatever you want to call yourself. How we are doing is nobody else’s business apart from us. Of course we can use the help of others at the gym, you can always use my help and we can use that inspiration and guidance for us to become more as individuals full stop.

It’s always about how far we have come, how far we have travelled since first starting and how much that has positively impacted our lives.

Setbacks will always come and go, but so will good times, feeling great and the sense of accomplishment that we are putting health at the top of our lists, which only enhances every area of our lives in a massively positive way.
