However much progress you are making at the moment since the 12 week challenge started, it is entirely down to you.

Those moments of indecision when it comes to making the right or wrong choices on food will always be crucial to how much you improve.

If you are following the plan, there’s absolutely no doubt whatsoever that you are improving, and we have numerous cases already where individuals are beginning to see big changes.

All of you train hard, so why not make the most of that hard training by nourishing your body properly with the right foods and the right portion sizes.

We have gone into a lot of detail on what you should be doing, this is a one of chance for you to finally get it right and make monumental changes to your body.

We are at day 9 already, and whilst there are many of you doing amazing things, I really don’t want anyone left behind in this and saying they “can’t do it right now”, or “will do it next time”, or “I will adjust my eating slower as I have plenty of time”.

The opportunity is there for you right now to move better, eat better, recover better and set and achieve much higher goals that you have ever done before.

There is no time to put this thing off anymore, anyone can do it, we have an overwhelming amount of people who are successful now and will always encourage you.

30th july right now and well done if you are sticking to the plan, for those of you who are not there is still time to adjust your mindset and really pile back on this plan and really make it happen no excuses, no putting it off, no surrendering, no white flag-let’s do it right now and start feeling better and looking amazing in 10 weeks!!!!

I always get asked “what happens when I finish the 12 week challenge”?

I have to say it’s going to be very unlikely that you will go back to your old ways when you complete the 12th week, you will definitely be a changed person by then.

You will have a new version of what your everyday life is now.

Your cravings will have gone or mostly gone, you will put exercise near the top of your “must do’s” most days, you will have a new lifestyle, you will have an unbelievable amount of energy, your outlook and ambitions in life will look totally different, and you will tend to be an optimist instead of not being bothered about doing worthwhile things.

Plus you will have a new body with a much improved level of health, both inside and out!

The pain in your body will have long disappeared, because you will be moving so much better now in all ways.

Maybe in the past you used to go in the garden for a couple of hours and couldn’t move for a few days. Everyone has had that feeling. Because of the training we do, you will be used to many of those movements and your body should be ready for anything.

Whenever physical activity you may have done as a one off in the past will have made you feel too old and stiff, those days should now be well and truly over as you now embrace physical effort, and you will be very aware of the benefits you get from it.

I find those who set new goals after finishing their first 12 weeks absolutely fly through the second 12 weeks because of their new ability and most importantly, a newly found self-confidence and a much higher self-esteem.

Overcoming the first 12 weeks was the hard bit, developing healthy habits for the first time in years and finally discarding bad habits that were holding you back, both with your body and mind.

Ending your first 12 weeks is only the beginning and definitely not the end!

Behind a successful measurement, and especially a series of successful measurements, there lies a real story of human achievement that affects lives in real everyday ways.

If someone comes to us with a blood pressure problem for instance, the first thing we need to do is address that and not put that person in any more danger, and begin the process of trying to get that blood pressure down and set them up for sustainable long term health.

Many, many individuals come to us with bad backs, some severe problems, so the number one objective is to spot where the movement problem is, and work on a plan on how to get that person moving pain-free in the safest possible way.

We have a lot of people coming to us with diabetes, or likely to soon become diabetic, and this is usually a critical juncture because exercise and a sustainable long term approach to eating the right foods in the right quantities can have a massive positive effect on bringing these individuals back from being on medication every day, and totally change their lives for the better.

So while all the measurements with us are likely to be consistently good, the health issues that many of our members have overcome are the real most important story to them and myself.

The ability to move without pain, to not be on medication anymore, to suddenly have unbelievable amounts of energy in their lives, to have hope and ambition with their bodies and mind again can be overwhelming.

Of course we measure the physical transformation every step of the way, but the extremely positive overall health and mind transformation is not often mentioned.

To all of you who have made it work and turned every area of your life around in such a positive way, we salute way because those real life stories aren’t often mentioned like the official physical improvements are. Real life quality of life stories are always more powerful.

Sunday, 5th July

By the time people come to us, I am used to individuals saying that “nothing is working”, “ I will never get in shape” and “this is my last hope” or “I will never play at that level because I am too slow or not talented enough”!

A proven plan that will make you realise its best to throw away the weighing scales takes some getting used to, after all you have been told for years that the weighing scale is king? Changing people’s minds on this can be difficult to start with, but becomes easy once they see their clothes fitting better and eventually becoming way too big.

“Getting the body you want now” has become sort of a cliché and many times these false promises have led to several blind alleys? I think all of us can relate to those disappointments.

Do u dream of wearing the clothes you love on the hangers in shops, but never imagine that you will be actually wearing them in reality because you permanently avoid tighter fitting clothes because they “show the bumps” more?

This time it’s different.

You are going to be very fit, you will build lean muscle which is vital for your body to work better in all ways, your metabolism will be firing better than it ever has, your energy levels will go through the roof, you will sleep much better than you ever have, you will constantly raise your standards, you will receive compliments on your appearance and how healthy you are looking, and your performance levels will be huge and you’re never too old to turn back the clock.

We are not a short term gym, results take time and you had better be committed for the long term, this is what making a “healthy lifestyle change” is all about after all. You really need to change for life

Our biggest achievers have taken months and years more like to look and perform that good.

They are always on hand to learn off and inspire you, we are all about getting fit and healthy the right way, no over the top pain that lasts for days, no stress on joints, no faddy diets that often uses dangerous advice that can wreck your health, no feeling sick of dizziness during/after sessions and putting together sessions that reflect YOUR ability and nobody else’s!

Monday, 30th June

We try to make you accountable for your efforts by our constant measuring process. This shows if you are improving, falling back and what rate of progress to expect in the future if you keep eating and training like you currently are.

All of this will be a proven way of success.

An excellent way of strengthening your longer term success is having an “accountability partner”. In life, you have friends, family and work colleagues who will often share in your experiences in getting fit and healthy. This is your “circle of support”.

If this circle of support is filled with negative people, who don’t offer support when things get tough and encourage you to go back to your old ways, then your chances of failure go dramatically up. The easiest thing will be to quit because these people usually never exercises themselves, never eat well and will want you to stay at their level.

This is why it’s important to have one very positive person at least who will go through it all with you, one person who has your real interests at heart, and will support and encourage you even when you want to throw in the towel.

They will offer realism when you are only pretending to try and you could do better, they will offer support to help make sure you actually make it to your training sessions, and they will celebrate in your success when it happens.

I find that if the person I train is living in a household where one partner eats and drinks rubbish, then that person will always struggle. The entire household needs to support each other, because if the supermarket shop is full of sugary and fatty foods, don’t pretend that those foods will not be eaten at some stage, because they will!

A healthy lifestyle cannot be a short term commitment, and if everyone buys into it then the household will feel so much better that it will never want to go back to the old unhealthy lifestyle anyway. Working as a team is always better than fighting against others who aren’t supportive of your goals to be fit and healthy.
