Positive changes

Those of you who have been in the gym lately will have noticed how much we have stepped up our efforts on recovery (often from injury or lack of function). 

Without a shadow of a doubt, we WILL see it through, we will use the latest science and tried and tested methods to get you better again in all ways, functioning better and approach a professional approach to getting results in a much quicker way than you may have been used to in the past, whichever route you may have taken..

It has been a natural path for me to go down as we have had so many recovery stories in the past, and we are doubling down on our research, learning and implementation of the craft we are learning, as changes in this game happen all the time.

Thank you for your patience and understanding of our goal to provide you with even more value to your health, to get you out of pain and again we WILL see it through no matter what at no extra cost to your membership.

Our gym NEVER stands still, we are always trying to improve and create an even more rounded and professional approach to performance AND recovery seems the most natural and exciting thing we have EVER done.

Friday 28th March

It’s always a thrill when I get to coach individuals to move better through our tried and tested system, that we aim to continually keep improving. 

If you can’t do the movements you need to do without any weight, then it can be dangerous to put you through that same movement loaded up with dumbbells for example.

We all like doing movements we are comfortable with, and in general dislike the movements that we are not familiar with, or we find trouble doing in the first place.

Practice teaches us that we will only improve our ability on those movements if we keep showing up and doing our best.

In daily life, we are called to perform a variety of movements, sometimes they are easy, sometimes we have to regain balance quickly as we potentially take a fall. 

The ability to then steady ourselves so the worst case scenario does not happen is always a reflection on how well we train and the continuous efforts we have put into our balance at the gym, and how far we have developed since we started in multiple areas.

If we continue to challenge ourselves in the gym, it’s not only our fitness that will improve, it’s our everyday movement capacity in life, and our awareness of what’s around us physically and mentally too, and our programme is meant to reflect all of those everyday challenges. 

Re-creating life like movements that can be done in the gym environment is a priority for us, because when you talk about the gym meaning a big increase in quality of life, we mean it.

LISTEN TO THIS.

It’s monday and you need to do what you NEED to do, not always what you “want to do”, that will come later once you have put the work in,

The building blocks of life-hard work, knuckling down to the grind, eating right, getting to bed at a decent times must all GET DONE, or life becomes HARDER.

You train hard to make life EASY!!

You embrace the grind so you can stay out of the doctor’s, the hospital and the cemetery a lot longer than if you lived a life of sickness, meaning living on junk, not exercising and listening and abiding by all the negativity around you!!!

You are DESTINED for great things, it’s up to you to keep your end of the bargain-for your family, those closest to you and most of all YOURSELF-do it for you and MAKE yourself feel better by the lifestyle you lead!!!

Tomorrow is tuesday, let’s get ready to double down and go even harder!!!

Monday 24th March

One of the greatest gifts you can give yourself is not to worry about tomorrow, and just focus on today. 

Worrying about tomorrow can rob us of our power today to do great things.

Monday is always associated with negativity, worry and an “everyone hates Monday approach”, but if we look at it as a day when we “Earn the right” to have a great week through our deeds and effort, then it can be something we can be proud of, something we view as essential, and allow us to elevate our energy, state of mind and drive to go on and have a great rest of week.

Our workouts are a time when we continually prove to ourselves to be good enough to come through any challenge and only gives us much-needed self belief, which carries on to all areas of our lives.

We have that opportunity each and every day, make sure you keep taking it.

How to fill in the gaps when negativity threatens-19th March

The old saying is that when a gap appears, then negativity will fill it. If people don’t know something, then it has to be the worst scenario. The 24 hour news channels get viewers by painting a terrible picture of the world.

People who never take action will always fear the worst too, because that is far easier than living by a different standard of taking action, and looking at the world through a different lens.

When fear is at its highest, it’s important to see it as an opportunity, because LESS people will be brave enough to take action, leaving a massive opportunity for you to grab big prizes on offer.

You won’t get a bigger prize than great health-just ask someone who doesn’t have it, they would swap places with you in a heartbeat!

Another great prize is feeling good every day-you don’t need drugs or alcohol to achieve that, all you need to is show up, do your best and see where it takes you. 

It is guaranteed to be a lot further down the track than if you never have a go or live in fear every day that is certain.

Fill your moments of doubt with statements of positivity through your OWN actions seizing opportunities that are here each and every day.
