Once you first start training, usually you will start improving and you begin the process of getting used to exercising and eating healthy.

Then you start to develop some momentum, and your body starts changing for the better and you start to feel a whole lot better too.

There is no real reason why you shouldn’t continue to improve either, but some things in life come up from time to time and some of you will get distracted and take some time off.

Here’s some research for you-for EVERY week you take off from training, it will take you ONE TO TWO weeks to get back to where you WERE. These studies were done on pro athletes, so these are used to training!

So not only will it take you a while to get you back into it, that great feeling of exercising and eating right that you have developed will take a while to feel again too.

The key here is not to take the breaks if you can help it.

Even 30 minutes of exercise will be beneficial instead of skipping it altogether, make that ten minutes even-just moving more helps!!

Many of you go through stressful times, that’s life, but exercising will help with those stress levels, keep your levels of wellbeing high and stop you going through the pain of getting back into it again!!!

The tough times will become good times again, just stick with your programme and make it work at all times for you.

If you want to reach for something higher in life, perhaps something you don’t think that right now you are capable of getting, then it’s no good reaching for a chair and doing it the easy way because it won’t work.

It’s always better to stand on all of the accomplishments you make for along the way, so you keep getting higher and higher and within reach of all your ambitions.

For example, if you see someone who has already lost 10-15 inches around their waist, then it’s not realistic to lose much that in just one month.

You need to found out how that was possible in the first place, and what sort of mindset got that person there eventually.

What were the ups and downs that happened along the way? How did they pick themselves up when they felt a bit down from life’s continuous challenges?

How did they go through the multiple weight training sessions along the way, changing their body each and every time?

How did they get to push that prowler across the car park that many times, and how did it feel to complete their first ever one?

How did they stick to their eating plan, when perhaps at times they felt enormous pressure to come off it?

It’s clear to see that if you want to become extremely successful with your health and fitness programme, you need to make a series of steps along the way, accomplish meaningful challenges at regular intervals and dig deep all the way through, especially when you have moments of doubt and indecision, and times when even your friends may be trying to put you off from going all the way and you finally achieving what you thought impossible only a short time ago.

Aim high and keep thinking big.

Monday, 20th April

Nothing happens until you start moving. When you move often and with purpose, you get results providing you are eating right.

You will start off slow and let’s say you work up to 45 mins to an hour, then you are doing well.

You will be doing even better when you start doing far more during that time. You will work with more intensity, you will lift more, you will bike and run harder, you will hit more prowlers than you ever thought possible and your core will become the strongest it’s ever been.

Then once you get to this stage, you will get used to doing and being asked to do “just that little bit more”!! You had better get used to me saying that.

This is the added spice of your workout, it’s that extra heat your body will get used to generating and making the
difference between getting good results and world-class results!

Do your workouts and then that little bit more.

Commit to your entire programme, and then that little bit more.

This little bit more pushes you through your limitations, and takes you to the places you never thought possible!

We try to create this throughout our programme and what we provide for you should always give you that little bit more. It’s hard not to be positive about your programme that will give you so much, make you much more positive and deliver you to a place that you can be proud of.

Every time you take time to train, give it your very best no matter how tiring your day was/is. Once the first 5 mins is over, you will feel like stepping it up and aiming to reach new highs every time.

You will know by now too that you will feel so much better afterwards, both mentally and physically. Every time let’s give it just that little bit more!!!

Friday, 10th April

Your habits shape what you feel like, what you look like, what ambitions you have, how much energy you have, how positive you are, how hard you want to work, how much you’re going to develop-just about everything.

No one workout is going to give you everything you need.

No workout will make you a super athlete.

It’s the culmination of many workouts done over a substantial period of time that will make the big difference-don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.

Start missing workouts and the results will slow down and eventually come to a standstill.

Everything will start to become much harder when you do show up for your workouts and motivation will wane.

Same with your food. Start eating badly and skipping your good meal habits and you’re going to have poor workouts, your measurements will struggle that much more and guess what? Your motivation will disappear.

I always say that the most important workouts are the ones you may not feel like making, but you do anyway. When you get to the gym, you will always be glad you came and you will yet again be excited about the results you are going to get from it all.

When you train, you will be motivated to eat well too.

Now you’re on a roll again and you’re back in the groove of being successful again.

Habits are everything so don’t start neglecting them. Your habits will reward you constantly so put yourself first and keep doing the fundamentals really well!

Monday, 9th February

Day 36 for most of you in this 12 week challenge and time to ask yourself a few important questions!

Are you getting big results still? From my records most of you still are! You should be very proud indeed so keep it going as you approach the halfway stage!!

Or has some negativity set in? Have you started to eat badly? Are you missing sessions for less and less important reasons?

Are you avoiding anything to do with exercising and eating well?

Are you true to yourself and remaining honest and accountable to yourself? As much as we want you to succeed, it is ultimately down to you and if you are not giving it your best, then you are unlikely to achieve the success you want unless you re-evaluate your commitment levels and what you are prepared to do to get it.

So those of you who are hitting some big numbers in your measurements, and performance numbers, this is the time to build on that big foundation you have!!!

Now is the time you go from doing well to being a contender to actually winning this thing.

Being your best in these 12 weeks means breaking away from the pack that maybe dictates what you do in life.

You have to say no to the friends who say its boring not to eat pizza midweek, the ones who tell you to get a life unless you drink all weekend every weekend.

People will question you as you get more and more successful. Some people won’t like you reaching your goals and beyond that again.

Realise that you are coming totally out of your comfort zone, that you are striving for more in life, and this success in your 12 weeks will mean your chances of success in every area of your life will increase dramatically too.

Now is exactly the time to really go for it, to test yourself like you’ve never done before so let’s give it everything you have!!!
