Tues 15th July

When you keep pushing, you keep getting better, you keep pulling out the stops, and it’s seemingly still dark and miserable, you are much closer to success than you ever thought.

I want you to keep trying your best, keep paying attention to your eating, don’t let your negative thoughts eat you up, don’t let anyone put you off because I keep on telling you that you are closer than you think, and good (AT LEAST) to great things are about to happen for you.

Don’t quit, keep fighting, keep doing your best, the light is coming at the end of a very long tunnel but you have to keep on grinding, believing and doing the work no matter how hard it seems. We believe in you-READ THIS EVERY DAY.

Seeing yourself as the exception in overcoming pain, adversity and the odds, is always a much more powerful mindset than seeing yourself as a victim of circumstance.

Most of us at times can look back at moments when we thought life was going against us, “why couldn’t we have more money, more luck, know more people”, and “why does it always happen to us”.

When we see ourselves as the exception, we suddenly realise that we can escape our circumstances, if we are consistent with our habits for a start each and every day.

Our body is changing every day, every cell on our bodies is going to change in the very near future, every part of our skin and everything about us will organically change, let’s help our bodies to make our changes happening to us right now good ones.

Negative thoughts enter our brain each and every day, but we don’t have to listen to them, we need to have some more positive self talk with ourselves.

Positive self talk makes us take better and take more constant actions, often against what we “feel like doing”. Also, when we take better daily actions our short and long term outcomes in life are going to change for the better.

If we do what we have always done, then we will get what we always got as the saying goes.

Going ALL IN on making ourselves better is the tough choice, the hard road, and the choice not many make, but the only one to change our outcomes in life to the very best versions of ourselves we can possibly be.

Talking yourself up or down can become a habit, and each time you do it, your reality will either be up or down, depending which way you tend to talk to yourself. If you expect bad things to happen, then they likely will.If you expect more opportunities, expect better things to happen, expect more joy and happiness in your life, expect more moments when you are grateful for your lot, then this is very likely to happen in your life.

These things, good or bad don’t happen by accident though, and better things will happen if you schedule the things that will enhance your life and you make sure you do them every day.

Even if you struggled today to get up on a monday, and thought that no way could you train today, then you need to run straight at that session today, complete it non matter how bad it seems for the first ten minutes, because it WILL only improve once you are there. You can cut corners on how much time you lay on your settee, cur corners on how much tv you watch, but don’t cut corners on the stuff that’s actually going to work for you and change your life for the better.

Keep talking yourself UP, cut out all the negative “my life is doomed” talk and most importantly practice the habits that will get your mind right, and the habits that will only brings an abundance of positive energy into your life.

2nd July 2025

If you are feeling more tired again today, it’s natural, because warm weather depletes our energy and desire to do anything ,especially when you are not used to it. Monday and tuesday were particularly warm, and we were not used to it, our reaction to it is to be expected.

When it’s freezing outside in January, it’s natural to want to slow down, and like many of our animal cousins who hibernate, we could easily be excused for slowing down and ‘hiding”, and show sloth like behaviour.

When it rains, its natural to seek shelter, to sit it out and wait till it passes, just like we used to do in our caveman days.

The problem is that these conditions do happen and that’s our environment, not many days are ever “perfect”.

Rather than hiding away, it’s important we keep going, striving to do what we need to do exercise, just ADAPT to out conditions and react accordingly.

Nobody will ever have a go at you doing less in hot weather, in fact it’s the best way to go.

If it’s wet, cold, dark, foggy, that’s no problem because our routines will either make us or break us. We should exercise primarily not because we have to, but because we want to keep feeling better, we don’t want to get pain in our bodies, and exercise should be part of our daily lives, a lot of times we won’t want to do it, but we know afterwards, we WILL ALWAYS feel better and energise ourselves for entirety of the rest of our day.

The weather is always a consideration, but it should never stop us moving completely, the side effects of that decision will only have negative ramifications on our lives in all sorts of way. Keep moving, stay in the groove because it’s a lot harder starting again after a break,  than just keeping going and staying in the flow..

Monday 30th June

It’s important to remember we all have a history of moving forward, and then falling down, and then having to get back up again.

This happened when we were learning to walk MANY times. As long as we expect this, remember that we will fail at times, realise we have to get back up again each time, except this time we will not have a parent dragging us back up again, and urging us to go again.

We MUST do it ourselves, we must remember and keep to the process, realise EVERYONE gets setbacks, stumbles and losses along the way.If we keep getting back up, then we will begin to trust the process because we will know it’s a necessary part our journey, accept that falling down is only a natural process of attaining victories, learning new skills and most of all developing RESILIENCE which keeps us going, when most people would happily quit.

You CAN do it and achieve great things, but realise that bumps in the road are only a normal part of life, on your way to something a lot better again than where you are now.
