Wednesday, April 6th

Clint Eastwood at 91 has started making a new film, directing and starring in it, his days starting at 430am.

Asked why he still puts himself through the stress of making a film at his age with all the early starts and late finishes, wasn’t he too old, shouldn’t he just take it easy?

He replied “if I stop working, If I stop exercising and eating right I will “LET THE OLD MAN IN”, once you do that you are finished”!!

I have trained many individuals who have gone from working their whole lives, then retired but suddenly found their workout schedule even more important because not working anymore often leaves a massive void in their lives, they often lose their sense of purpose in life and it’s very easy to sink into a deep depression.

Most people view retirement as some kind of “nirvana” and heavenly place, but most people will tell you after just a few weeks, unless you have that strong sense of purpose from a new challenge you take on, a strong reason to get up early every day and accomplish things, then it becomes a very dangerous existence where your body and mind can break down very quickly and send you into a spiral of decline.

Kay Owen 82, and Dennis Ball at 84 who are still achieving incredible feats at the gym with us every day tell me this when I see them, they long ago discovered that you need to be getting better still in life, keeping to a schedule, you always need to keep fighting, eating well, taking care of yourself because if you stop, that “old person will quickly take over your body and mind”, and it’s only downhill from there.

Whatever age you are, stay in the game, get on the gloves every day, lift more weights, walk/run up that hill and keep fighting for a great life, surround yourself with positive like minded people who will be “encouragers” instead of dream stealers.

90% of what you worry about will never happen anyway, treat every day as a great gift never putting off all the incredible things you are capable of right now.

Monday, April 4th

What you put into your health, you get out. No magic formula. If you took a glass of wine, a cigarette and a doughnut and give it to your dog for breakfast, the dog would probably collapse and maybe die in short period of time.

But many people give exactly that to themselves. Most people spend more on their car every month to make them feel better than they do taking care of themselves.

If you don’t look after yourself, then how are you going to look after others nearest and dearest to you? How can you perform to a decent level in your job or business?

Maybe the moods you suffer from are due to you not really looking after yourself, due to the highs and lows of excess refined sugar you eat, and not getting enough exercise and fresh air?

We take it for granted that we can go 100 miles an hour without stopping, but the more we eat rubbish most of the time, the more our system is likely to stall and splutter.

The less we move/exercise, the more strain we put on our heart, the more our joints ache and the more we invite other serious disease over time.Put these two things together, and our whole system can collapse, and put our mental health well and truly on the floor, which can make us feel there’s no way out of the hole we have dug for ourselves.

If we do eat well 80% of the time, move more every day, then we are likely to feel much better, to be able to take part in life instead of sitting on the sidelines, and view life as a wonderful gift instead of something we often dread every day.

Monday 4th April 2022

Monday is the most popular day not to be “feeling it”.

The only way you ever get rid of that feeling though is actually DOING IT, the opposite to what you initially “feel like doing”!!

Getting under a lot of weight and pushing as if your life depended on it, pulling a lot of weight, getting out of breath a bit with a cardio machine, throwing around a medicine ball, ALL qualifiy as instant mojo getters!!

Exercise changes your body but instantly changes your mind too, by sending chemicals to your brain demanding an instant change in mood and thought.

Monday is the perfect day to dictate what kind of week you are destined to have, you may have just come off nights, had a late night, had a bad day at work, you may even have had a week off, whatever your situation and however deep a hole you find yourself in, right now is your perfect opportunity to change it for the better.

Day 83 of 84=March 28th

.‘At your highest moment, be careful, that’s when the devil comes for you’.”, -Denzel Washington said to Will Smith last night after the now famous incident last night, just before he would receive his first Oscar.

Whatever you think about this, it’s vital to realise when you are doing well, there will be some people looking to knock you off that perch and see you struggle, slip up just when you are at your best, because YOU doing well will show up the who aren’t prepared to put the work in that you are.

In business, I know the demands are always great, and this is why we have yet another incredible challenge ready for you after our current one ends tomorrow, we are ALWAYS focus on constant improvement!!

I know some people won’t be happy (from the outside looking in) with our one of a kind positive environment, our super consistent results, our ever changing workouts and approach that often defies belief in the feats you keep on achieving daily, but I always try to do what’s right for the vast majority and brings outstanding results in time after time after time, and you the outstanding members who have shown amazing resilience and come up trumps every single time.

Many people will be happy with you achieving a small amount of success, but the better you do, some may even get upset about it. Your answer to this? WORK EVEN HARDER and distance them from your life, EMBRACE those who support you, encourage you and the ones especially who are thrilled with your progress, there won’t always be many of them so keep them close, and accept that living with these outstanding results is uncommon, unusual and you won’t be one of the crowd if you decide and commit to doing well.

Appreciate how well you are doing, but also realise it takes hard work to stay there too so keep showing up, keep taking on new challenges and love the pride, self confidence and self-esteem that comes with all of this huge effort you continue to put in.

Day 71-March 16th

We are packing more into our sessions than we have ever done before with new stuff still coming thick and fast.

Immense efforts every session and the time goes so quick it’s unbelievable.

Never any fads, gimmicks or short cuts home. The hard road is more difficult but ultimately saves you a lot of time in the end simply being honest with yourself every day and asking yourself are you giving of your best to this thing or not?

A positive answer directly relates to the way you feel, the way you perform and how much courage and pride you live with each and every day.

We continue to get through an incredible amount each and every session, and it’s all about the showing up regularly that turns your results from average to gold standard.

So proud of eveyrone in this challenge and an incredible day 71 already where an all time high amount of you are finishing this challenge with extreme energy and relish!!!Get an early night because day 72 will expect a lot out of you.
