Having at least one of my cars back today, but I am still capable of walking everywhere. But what if we don’t have our body back in working order one day.
Some of you have experienced that, and its painful and emotionally crippling. It’s a long road back, and without exercise many people ever get their bodies in full working order ever again.
It’s very true we live in a world where it’s highly important for some to have the latest car, but pay no attention to their bodies, and let the decline keep happening.
A lady was moaning to me the other day in her 60k car that she was so much pain now, and she was falling due to lack of balance because of her lack of exercise, she remembered how life was so much better when she exercised.
She insisted she was too old now though, at 56!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That was the lie she was telling herself. The expensive 4×4 was so much more important, and the monthly payment she paid to stop it being repossessed. It made her “feel good”, because she was trying to impress her so called friends.
I hope one day she discovers reality again, and she gets her priorities right.
If you aren’t exercising, you may not may not be ready to admit to yourself yet, that the decline in your body can be slow to start with, but within a few weeks can accelerate very quickly. Your body declines, but your mind decline can go even quicker, and destroy your self-esteem and confidence.
Leaving life pass you by and the only exercise you get is “surfing” social media is something that happens to people once they forget to implement the habits that have served them so well in the past.
I fully believe, KNOW and seen with first hand experience over many years that your happiness is strongly linked to exercise. Get your mind right by hitting your sessions, get your confidence back and raise it several levels by seeing progress from your efforts.
Today is the day you say NO MORE. Love the environment you are in. If you want to be negative, there’s plenty of people waiting to join you in misery. If you want to be happy, then you need to choose the right habits, the right people and most importantly TAKE ACTION.
Don’t pretend there’s another way.
